Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a natural polymer material cellulose as raw material.  Non-ionic cellulose ether made by a series of chemical processing.  It is an odorless, tasteless and non-toxic white to off-white powder or granule.  It can be dissolved in cold water to form a transparent, viscous solution.  It has thickening.  Adhesion, dispersion, emulsification, film formation, suspension, adsorption, surface activity, salt resistance, moisture retention and protective colloid.  Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) can be used in construction materials, coating industry, synthetic resin, ceramic industry, textile, agriculture, cosmetics, tobacco, ink, papermaking and other industries.

Hydroxyethyl Cellulose HEC For Paint and Coating Grade 

1. Thickening Agent :Hydroxyethyl Cellulose can increase the viscosity of the paint, prevent the paint from sagging during the construction process, and ensure the uniform distribution of the paint and good constructio performance

2. Stabilizing effet: Hydroxyethyl Cellulose HEC can improve the stability of the paint, avoid pigment sedimentation and stratification and ensure the quality consistency of paint during storage 

 

Hydroxyethyl Cellulose HEC For Cosmetic and Personal Care Grade 

1.Hydroxyethylcellulose is used as a thickener and stabilizer for aqueous cosmetic and personal care formulations.

2. Hydroxyethylcellulose could produce crystal gel products and thicken the aqueous phase of cosmetic emulsions and increase the consistency and stability of various cosmetic products, such as shampoos,conditioners, creams,serums, lotions, gels, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, body washes and other various cosmetic products.

2.Paper making: Hydroxyethyl cellulose is also widely used in the papermaking industry. It can improve the strength, waterproofness and weather resistance of paper, and increase the wrinkle resistance and tear resistance of paper

3.Agriculture:HEC can effectively suspend solid poisons in water-based sprays. HEC is used in seed coating agents to improve seed adhesion and water resistance. HEC can absorb and retain a large amount of water, reduce water loss, and improve the growth quality of crops.
