Ammonium molybdate, with the chemical formula of (NH4) 2MoO4, is an inorganic salt and is widely used as the basic raw material for the production of high-purity molybdenum products, molybdenum catalysts, molybdenum pigments, etc. Ammonium molybdate can be used to determine phosphate, arsenate, lead and alkaloid; Molybdenum blue method can be used to determine the phosphorus content of soil and plants. It can also be used to determine the activity of inorganic phosphorus and alkaline phosphatase in serum; Determination of silicon and phosphorus in steel; Reagent for ceramic glaze and color layer analysis. It can also be used as a catalyst in the petroleum industry and in the metallurgical industry to produce molybdenum.
