Disodium succinate is white crystalline particles, odorless, not deliquescence in the air; easily soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents.
The aqueous solution has the umami taste of shellfish and has no sour taste. It can be used as food flavoring agent, sour agent and buffering agent. It can also be used to synthesize medicine and other organic synthetic raw materials.

Function

Mainly used as flavoring agent, sour agent, buffer; also used for synthetic medicine and other organic synthetic raw materials.
Disodium succinate has good solubility and strong permeability. It is mainly used as a flavoring agent. It has a flavoring effect and can alleviate the irritation of other flavorings and improve the flavoring effect. The general dosage is 0.01%~0.05%. Used as a seasoning, generally use powdery anhydrous to accelerate the dissolution.

Application

A)

As an ingredient used in hams, sausages, seasoning liquids and other food stuff. It is advised to be added either solely or with other flavor-enhancers, such as MSG.

B)

Mainly used as a flavoring and sour agent, buffering agent synthesis can also be used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and other organic materials. Disodium succinate solubility, permeability, mainly used as a flavoring, seasoning while easing the effects of stimulation of the other seasonings, increased flavoring effect. Normal dosage for 0.01%~0.05%. Used as a condiment, anhydrous powder is commonly used to accelerate the dissolution.
